IP Product Recipe: Artisan Bread

This has to be one of my favourite recipes yet!


Artisan Bread
Appropriate for Phases: All
Serving Size: whole recipe = 1 IP package MINUS 1 oz of protein for the day (due to the egg).

Ingredients:
1    IP Potato Puree package
1    whole egg
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp basil
1/2 tsp oregano
1    tsp olive oil or grape seed oil
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 oz.   water
pinch of cilanto
Pam or olive oil spray
Optional:  Add minced garlic for a more garlic-y bread!  Yum!!!

Preparation:
1.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2.  Mix all the above ingredients in a bowl.
3.  Spray cookie sheet or pan with Pam or EVOO spray.
4.  Pour mixture on to the cookie sheet/Pyrex pan and spread out to desired surface area.  Approximately 6"x8" or pan bottom.
5.  Bake in the oven for 18-20 minutes. Wipe off excess oil and enjoy!

Additional Ideas:
This recipe is good warm or cold.
Would make a great addition to a work lunch meal.
Cut it into croutons to add to a salad!
Try using it like bread and make yourself a sandwich, like an egg/tuna salad sandwich using Walden Farms Miracle Mayo.
